How many times has it been when you’re trying to find the right natural remedy for your feminine-care needs, but kept getting the runaround? Whether it's for menstrual cramps, bloating, mental clarity, or even a basic herbal tea just to get you right in the morning. Giirrll! I’ve been here on numerous occasions. Especially when I was experiencing a painful ovarian cyst years ago, and random severe period cramps.

It can be a long journey to finding what best suits you and what’s easy to access, but your sister is here for YOU! Over the last eleven years I’ve been researching and experimenting with various herbs for multiple women’s health-care needs and I finally got my top favorite list that not only snaps this pu$$y back into place, but also gets my mental clear and spirit at ease.

For each herb I’m sharing with you my personal experiences and some beneficial reliefs. It is imperative for you to do your own research as well Sis.

So let’s get into some of my Top Herbs For Women’s Health that totally changed my life!

MACA ROOT

Menstrual Cramps | Endurance | Horomonal Balance

If you know me know me sis, then you KNOW I love me some Maca root! I calls her the “Thicc Gal” because babbbyy she’ll get you right with good workout routine. Talk about bootylicious!

Maca root is said to also be great for menstrual cramps. When I first tried this plant it literally removed my period cramps to the point that I didn’t even realize my cycle had started! From then on, I take red maca root on the regular through out the year at least a week before my period comes on with lots of water daily.

DONG QUAI

PMS Care | Blood Purifier | Antioxidant

DONNY!!! Oouu chile! Dong Quai gives me life. This herb is known as the “female ginseng” which means it’s on & popping and when it comes to natural pms/menopausal care. It also has other amazing healing properties for infertility, immune problems, and it’s even thought to be a good blood purifier.

Dong Quai is my favorite herb to add to my v-steam baths, giving me much relief before my menstrual cycle. I even add it to my soups, ramen, is one of my go to nightly teas.

ASHWAGANDHA

Energy Booster | Muscular Strength | Adaptogen

Girl!!! When I say stress reducer I mean it. Ashwagandha changed my perspective on herbs and mental health. I initially started taking this herb for menstrual care, but no-one had told me about the mental clarity that was going to magically hit me. Literally, on the fifth day of taking ashwagandha capsules I was on cloud 9!

My mind felt so clear and my mood was just joyous. After this experience, I had to make me a stress reducer juice for days that needed an extra boost. Check out my Happy Juice recipe here!

RED CLOVER

Skin Cleanser | Immunity | Antiseptic

Packed with plenty of nutrients, like calcium, magnesium, potassium, and vitamin C; Red Clover is great with providing the feminine body everything she needs. It may be help with reducing hot flashes and is great for the skin.

NETTLE

Natural Diuretic | Hair Growth | Reduces Allergies

Nettle also known as Stinging Nettle is a potent herb that is used for multiple hair/scalp problems, like dandruff and alopecia, but it is also know to be a good natural remedy for fibroids and PCOS. If you want a pleasing scalp cleanser, nettle tea does wonders as well as the oil for moisture and hair revival.

Love Wellness

GINGER ROOT

Inflammation | Digestion | Menstrual Cramps

Out of all the herbs mentioned, ginger root is probably the most popular. Greatly known for period cramp relief, immune system boost, and detoxifying the body. Ginger root works wonders if you experience painful menstruation symptoms, especially on those first couple of days when cramps are the devil.

Fresh ginger root tea in the morning is a game changer. It may also be beneficial for weight loss and stubborn belly fat.

ROSE HIPS

Smooth Skin | Bone Health | Stretch Marks

Sis!!! A Rose Hips bath will level up your bathing experience. When I say skin on fleek and pum pum on 1,000. I means it! All you’ll need is one cup of this dried herb in a nice tub full of hot water. This powerful herb is also rich with antioxidants, vitamin C, and is said to be a good natural remedy for UTI’s.

CHASTE TREE BERRY(VITEX)

Fertility | Mood Swings | Fibroids

When it comes to natural treatments for infertility, Chaste Tree Berry or Vitex is very well known. By stimulating the production of estrogen and progestrone in the ovaries, this herb may help balance the feminine body to optimal levels.

SPEARMINT

PCOS | Anti-inflammatory | Mental Health

This minty herb is one of my top choices when naturally caring for ovarian cysts/PCOS, and digestive health issues. It is known to be a great inflammation reducer, eliminating the nasty unwanted build up of acids, mucus and other things our bodies may accumulate from bad eating habits, stress, or even toxic environments.

Be mindful these are only a few herbs that are said to be beneficial for women’s health. There are plenty of up-to-date research articles and experiments that you can find on the web if you desire more herbs and/or information. These are just my personal favorites and experinces.

DISCLAIMER: Please be sure to speak with your physician/herbalist/nutritionist before trying new herbs and always do your research.
